Goran is an international expert in Banking, Social, Collaborative and Circular economy. For the last 10 years he has been researching and developing alternative financial and economic models for local communities based on the principles of economic democracy, trust, collaboration, innovation, solidarity, protection of commons and sustainable use of resources. The most prominent project is work on the European Ethical Bank - a digital bank built around cooperative values aiming to pioneer a new replicable and scalable banking business model fully focused on sustainability and support for public good. Since 2014 Goran is Cooperative Manager of Cooperative for ethical finance (ZEF) in Croatia and since 2023 Chairman of Echoes, Fairshares company behind European Ethical Bank project.
